It is not uncommon for transport drivers to head to warehouses where goods are illegally delivered and subsequently sold to fences. In some cases, these drivers act in cooperation with accomplices. The transport vehicle is brought to a stop—preferably on less frequented roads—the driver is attacked, the goods are removed, and later sold, with the proceeds then shared with the cooperating transporter.
